Route description: The start of the 5 km Race is located within the facilities of the Thessaloniki Port Authority, on Averof Street. The 5 km route runs along Averof Street. The runners then exit through Gate 11 (ThPA), turning left onto 26th October Street. A turnaround is then made at the median by the Porto Palace Hotel (1.99 km). They then proceed along 26th October Street toward Thessaloniki and re-enter the Thessaloniki Port Authority through Gate 11 (3.18 km). They then continue along Averof Street (within the ThPA), exit through the ThPA Gate (4.49 km), and enter Nikis Avenue, where they finish at Aristotelous Square.
